This problem occurs in both Windows 10 GnuCash 4.4+(2020-12-28) and Linux Ubuntu 20.04 Flathub 4.5.

In Transaction Journal view, edit account
Income:Dividend:ANZ:Franked:Maree
Highlight ANZ, type C
Now shows as
Income:Dividend:Canked:Maree
But should be
Income:Dividend:C:Franked:Maree

Testing shows this bug is fixed in Linux flatpak maint-C4.5-352-g6384985f9-D4.5-84-g6d2877c
& Windows daily build maint gnucash-4.5-2021-06-19-git-4.5-352-g6384985f9+.
