I was trying to enter a new transaction with the Caps Lock enabled, and I discovered the Tab, Esc, and Enter keys don't work now!  😥

Added back the test for modifiers obtained from gtk_accelerator_get_default_mod_mask

This should fix the issue so please test the next testing release due this weekend.
