All my reports that involve charts (Expenses chart, asset chart, networth linechart/barchart) will not load and just end up giving me the "Windows is not responding". I left them running for an hour and they don't load.

I've tried reinstalling, installing an older version (2.6.21) and on a different computer and it still crashes.

My other reports like income statement and piecharts all work though.

The crashes on 3.6 may be bug 797283 this bug doesn't exist in 3.5 -- could you try?

The 2.6.21 crashes are unknown though.

PS https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Tracefile and any report output in %TEMP% would be useful in either 3.6 or 2.6.21 crashes

Thanks Christopher, 3.5 works fine for my reports.

My trace files are mostly empty but I managed to get one.
Anyway, this seems to be the error, the .html reports open fine my browser though.

* 12:46:17  WARN <gnc.scm> barchart has no non-zero data.

Since it worked in 3.5 we'll assume that it was bug 797283.
