Description vaaydayaasra 2019-07-23 08:36:33 EDT
One and a half years ago on January 1, 2018, the Mauritanian government issued a new official currency, which during a transitional period replaced the old currency in circulation. Both currencies are called "Mauritanian ouguiya" but they have different codes: MRO for the old and MRU for the new currency. They are in a fixed 10:1 relationship so that 10 MRO = 1 MRU. Could you please add MRU on the list of supported currencies?

Beginning from January 2018, all Mauritanian banks have used MRU exclusively, so potentially the old currency could even be removed from the list but for backwards-compatibility it might be better to keep both, in case anyone has past accounts where they use MRO.

Added MRU to iso-4217-currencies.xml. You can use tomorrow's nightly build from https://code.gnucash.org/builds/win32/maint or wait for the next release at the end of September.
