When using Windows' Snap feature, clicking GNUCash title bar and dragging to the LEFT, the GNUCash window "snaps" to the left side of screen with window resized appropriately, but if you instead "snap" it to the right, a portion of the window is hidden on right side, and there is no scroll bar to see what's apparently just offscreen to the right. If you then grab the title bar again and move it left ("unsnapping"), the rest of the window is visible. I updated from GNUCash 3.1 and I don't think I had ever seen the same issue on that version. I'm on the road so can't check on my other systems, but I observed the issue on Win 10 Home (64), at my laptop's (default) 1366*768 resolution.
Well, perhaps it isn't exactly as described. Actually, I think it doesn't act correctly when snapping to the left, either. What's actually going on is GNUCash acts as though there is a minimum window size, which I cannot manually resize it below when not "snapped" to either side, either. So, when snapping to the left or right, it doesn't conform to the snap window size and overruns it, taking up more screen than it was supposed to. It's just all visible when snapping left because it runs over the snapped window size to the right, where its still in visible area.
Hi, seems to be a similar issue. Pressing <WIN><LEFT> the gnucash window uses more then 50% of the screen. Pressing <WIN><RIGHT> gnucash window starts in the middle of the screen, but the right part can't be seen. The window can't be made smaler.
I'm seeing multiple issues with Windows "Snap" feature. If it helps, I'm on a dual monitor setup and my windows taskbar is at the TOP of my screens. 1. Snap up (drag sizer arrows to full height) - Window extend all the way to top of screen. If taskbar is at top of screen, Gnucash window end up with the title bar stuck under the Windows taskbar (see screenshot). 3. Snap up (drag Gnucash title bar to top) - seems to work correctly and fullscreens Gnucash without title bar stuck under task bar. 2. Snap (drag title bar) to left/right edge - Does not prompt for other window to display on right side but does fit correctly (50% wide, full height without being under taskbar). Likewise, when snapping another window to the edge, Gnucash does not display in the list of available windows to show on the right side. 3. Snap right/left at divider between screens - Does not trigger at divider between screens like it should and just slides over to other screen

Created attachment 373268 [details] Snap-edge behavior Shows gnucahs not triggering pick window when snapping to the edge of screen. Normal behavior would be to display the other available windows to fill the right side of the screen.
