Windows 7 Home Premium SP 1

I downloaded, installed and launched gnucash 3.4.  

Get dialog: "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way."  

No trace file in AppData/Local/Temp.

For future reference, I 
a) uninstalled gnucash
b) deleted the C:\Program Files\gnucash folder
c) deleted the C:\Users\ME\.gnucash folder
d) reinstalled

Now, it works!
