some dangling half finished stray cut and paste on an account name has created a pop-up dialog asking me to "confirm creation of ..." some mangled account name. It follows me everywhere. ( i.e. repeatedly appears, while I'm working on other transactions. I can't find which transaction in which account is triggering this pop-up. searching even is of no help. even knowing the mangled literal, b/c I guess the pending change has actually to happen. no way to trace back to where/what account edit this mangled account name was entered at.. death-spiral possible - until can't even select any transaction without the pop up blocking any attempted interaction. pop-up has a one-way modal 'CONFIRM'? -only effect... 'CANCEL' doesn't flush state preventing recurrence of pop-up. discard transaction? cancel? save transaction?? unclear which transaction this stray pop-up is referring to. work around: successively finish and close transactions being edited and perhaps dozens of open accounts, a significant de-rail, until the pop-up ceases to appear.
