QIF with ignored transaction

Importing the attached QIF file reports no errors, however the transaction is not created.

The related accounts do get created correctly.

If I change the two Type records in the sample QIF file to Bank (from Invst) then the transactions import.

This still leaves a larger problem however when the QIF file contains journal entries for bank style deposits and withdrawals along with investment actions to buy and sell stocks.

My larger goal is to import a QIF file for a brokerage account that has a mix of deposits, withdrawals, dividend income, interest income as well as stock and mutual fund investments.

When importing the full QIF file I also see a number of errors:
Transaction with no or only one associated account.

I haven't quite figured out which transactions are generating that error. The QIF import window unfortunately only reports the error and provides no context for which source transaction was involved in the error.

My attempts to use a smaller export range only reproduce the ignored transactions with no errors reported.

I have found that if I manipulate the QIF file to move all investment transactions (Buy/Sell) to a QIF Account Type 'Invst' and all cash transactions (Dividend, Interest, Transfers) to a QIF Account type 'Bank' I can get the transactions imported. It's a workaround, but not a pleasant one.
