Description Robert Chapin 2018-06-26 17:28:33 EDT
After clicking File > New File, the New Account Hierarchy Setup wizard opens.

The intro page has a Next button left of the Cancel button. As soon as this button is clicked, it is replaced by a Back button.

After clicking the Next button in its new position twice, it is again replaced by a Back button.

At this point, we have Next, Back, Finish, Cancel. I have no idea what the difference is between Next and Finish at this point without clicking each experimentally.

If I click Next again, the button disappears, and now the Back button is replaced by a Next button.

This is too damn confusing!

Not really sure what is confusing about this. The Account Hierarchy setup uses an assistant to step you through the required options/pages to create a new file.

On each page the buttons are changed as determined from the page type and down the left side are the steps/pages you are going through.

On Linux, the button order is cancel, back, forward, apply, last, close with buttons being hidden as appropriate. So generally the last button will be 'forward/next' right aligned and on my system I have...
    C,N
  C,B,N
  C,B,N
C,F,B,N
  C,B,N
  C,B,A
so not move around. Not sure how the middle finish button is there, I assume the page type has been changed but is used to skip to the last page.

On Windows the button order is reversed and as such the buttons move around when others are hidden as that is appropriate for windows, see this article https://superuser.com/questions/1221225/how-to-switch-yes-and-no-buttons-in-dialog-box-either-in-windows-or-linux which explains a way to switch the order.
