Created attachment 372569 [details] Attached are receipt PDFs (x2) generated before and after based on the same invoice template. Not quite sure what's going on, but: 1) updated via move from f26 to f28 - not sure which version was last maintained in f26, but that's what I was using 2) Based on a 'Tax Invoice' template, I have: * 'Receipt' set up with text in 'Saved Report Configuration' with 'Report Name' 'Receipt' (so far so good - that's what it's called in 'Saved Report Configuration'); * 'Heading 1' > 'Report title:' <font color="#A7A7A7">Receipt</font> * 'Heading 2' > 'Payment received text:' <font color="#FF0000">Payment received</font> * 'Notes' > 'Extra notes': Thank you for your payment! * 'Notes' > 'Embedded CSS': h1.coyname { text-align: left; } 3) Since the update to v3.1 the above at 2) are not respected at all - but, I can select the correct invoice via: * 'General' > 'Invoice Number:' > 'Select...' button Which updates the respective fields correctly So, some help would allow me to start issuing receipts to the good people that give me money! Attached are receipt PDFs generated before and after based on the same invoice. (Also, the export pdf buttom provides the same dialogue as the print button - which looses the standardised file name that's auto generated, but I guess that's another story...)
Thank you for your report. This turns out to be a leftover from a fix for bug 734168 that went to far and started hard coding a number of fields. The hardcoded parts should have been reverted but for some reason this was forgotten. I have fixed this but unfortunately it will be just too late for gnucash 3.2 for which the release process has already been started.
