Description LiosK 2018-06-05 10:35:08 EDT
It takes too much time to import transactions into a large GnuCash book. I am importing a CSV file originally exported from a GnuCash file into another book that contains ~16.7 thousand transactions. The CSV importer spends so much time on, seemingly, finding associated transactions before moving to the "Match Transactions" pane. It takes a minute to import 10 transactions, 10 minutes to import 100, and forever to complete 4000 transactions - my MacBook Pro has been working on it for 12 hours...

It would be great if the matching algorithm is improved, but is it possible simply to allow users to skip the matching process when they do not need to associate transactions?

I think I'm having this same problem in version 3.2
V2.6.21 can import the file almost immediatley.

Just realized unchecking "Preferences -> Online Banking -> Use bayesian matching" helps a lot.
