Thank you for your report! But, please be next time more precise. After some search I found, you are not talking about 1. the help manual, but the tutorial and guide, 2. the Online Help, but the CHM files shipped with windows and MacOs. Because I spent now hours of search I will continue in the next days, but at least I can confirm your report.
Frank, the CHM files are built and shipped only on Windows. The Guide PDF on https://www.gnucash.org/docs.phtml are also missing some images and others are scaled wrong. Probably my fault from when I hurriedly generated new Gtk3 images in March.
John, you are right about CHM. I was already wondering as the xml file did not change for years in that sections. I assume, you forgot to apply https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Documentation_Update_Instructions#New_Method.
Yes, that was it. I've done that now and updated the website with rebuilt docs.
I didn't see any commit messages on gnucash-docs for this ? Did you commit the images with adjusted dpi ?
