Description Peter Kane 2018-05-09 01:24:42 EDT
CSV importer doesn't match any rows.
I unchecked all lines except one new row, and then it didn't add it to the account register anyway. gnucash 3.1, OSX 10.13.4
I've gone back to 2.6.21

Thank you for your report.

Unfortunately there are not enough details to start figuring out what went wrong or why.

I can successfully import csv files on my system.

Can you provide more details on the exact steps you took, where it went wrong, what you expected and what happened instead ?

What kind of csv file did you import ?
Was it exported from Ms Excel ?

Note also there have been several fixes in the csv import code since gnucash 3.1 (some will only be released in gnucash 3.3 next weekend).

I just installed Gnucash 3.3, and set up new CSV transaction file importers, and it works fine now.
Thanks to to team for 3.3
I've now started using it instead of 2.9
