Description gorf 2018-03-19 05:57:29 EDT
I saved sqlite3 file at Linux, but can not open it at windows 10 or mac os. There is no error report. gnucash will be very slow, and nearly no response. Late I have to kill it.
at version 2.7.7, it still can not open.
Comment 1 Alen Siljak 2018-03-19 07:45:42 EDT
Can you open it with an sqlite tool like DbBrowser for SQLite or something similar?
Comment 2 John Ralls 2018-03-19 09:32:56 EDT
How big a file is it, did you create it with GnuCash 2.6.x or 2.7.x on Linux, and how long did you wait before killing it? See bug 792105.

Thank you. I created the file with version 2.7.X on Linux , and can use it smoothly at Linux.Gnucash stopped at loading data file screen. When I save the file with xml version, then I can use it smoothly at Windows 10.
Comment 4 gorf 2018-03-20 02:06:53 EDT
After waiting about 10 minutes, the xml version file can be open.
Comment 5 John Ralls 2018-03-20 10:02:11 EDT
And with SQLite3? Alen reported it took almost an hour for his file in Bug 792105.
Comment 6 Geert Janssens 2018-04-18 09:50:58 EDT
Can you install this nightly build
https://code.gnucash.org/builds/win32/maint/gnucash-3.0-2018-04-18-git-3.0-83-gcad6bb427+.setup.exe
And test loading the sqlite3 file again?
The load performance issue should be resolved now.
