Currently, the values for all budgeting periods have to be entered manually. Assuming that in general budgets do not change over time (with excpetions of course), there are several approaches to make it easier: * Add a button that copies all budgets from the currently selected (or first) budgeting period to the next one (or all following). Any deviations from the normal budget would have to be edited directly. * Add a first column 'Default budget', whose budget is used for all budgeting periods. The budgets for the specific fields can than be either used to overwrite the default value or to be used as a delta to the default value. * Add a checkboxoption 'Same budget for all periods', which, if selected, limits budget to one column only, whose values are used for all budgeting periods. Personally, I don't see a big difference between any of the three coices and would be happy with either. I guess the last version may be a little restrictive, but on the other hand, is very easily understood by beginners.
Fixed in GnuCash 3.6 thanks to a contribution from Adrién Panella.
